Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
item upgrader can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
